    The Good, Bad and Ugly

First the good. My new Stratos is awesome !!!!!

Now the bad. Got its first scratch yesterday. Nothing a sharpie can't handle

Now for the ugly part. I couldnt wait to get the boat wet on the way home. So I dipped it in a river that I had never been on and had no business being on.

Prop is mashed and at a minimum the propshaft is bent and the skeg is dinged. Lesson here is don't be a dumb azz like me and let impatience overcome good judgement.

    - Ken

Sorry to hear that Ken, but the good thing is she's nothing but a toy. You're gonna get scratches and dinged up props here on our rivers too. Just part of the game.

Re: The Good, Bad and Ugly (Todd Morgan)

What's the price range on skeg repair? I have one with about 1 and 1/4 inch bite out of it. Also, can a non-manchanic take it off? Thanks.

We get $250 to R&R, weld and paint. Pretty much a set rate for us. Your local prop shop can probably handle it for you.

Big J - It happened on a crrek flowing into Cordell Hull lake. David didnt have your breaker, but he gave me a different model to give you.

Dang Ken, that stinks......Great to have a friend like Mike Allen to help you out....One heck of a nice rig though...The only Stratos I've road in is Daryl's and it rode like a Cadilac....Plenty of good times ahead for sure...

Sorry you sure did not waste any time getting the cherry, that first one hurts bad A sharpie of magic marker will take care of that. Now the big question is does anybody in the Great State of Va buy any color Stratos other than Blue . I event see one here on Norman and most of them from VA.
