Keep in mind for every $$ spent on hop ups it decreases the engine's life span and reliability. The guys on SNfF are great guys and very helpfull . But they think nothing of popping a few grand in a motor that will last 50 hours and then have to rebuild. Check out http://www.montyracing.com or on SNF jenksam.

You got that right. Some of them are more "moderate" with their modifications and have very reliable motors as a result. But there are a few over there that want to ... well ... Scream & Fly, regardless of the cost and longevity of the powerhead. But like the Man said, they are all a great bunch of guys. I remember in the early 80s there were a couple of them running V4 loopers and turning them near 8,000 RPMs. Hard to believe, but they were actually doing it. I don't have any idea how long they were lasting, but the little OMCs were definitely screaming!

From all that I've heard and read on the internet, Monty Racing offers the most reliability for the upgrades......
