Proper way to decarb a motor

I have read a lot of posts about decarbing a motor once a year. Can someone explain the proper way to decarb a motor?

Go to your local dealer and get a can of engine tune, about 10 bucks, follow directions on can.

spray inside each carb or throttle body while warmed up and running. Shut off, spray inside each spark plug hole. Let sit overnight. Go to lake and run the pizz out of it.

Or you can use the maintenance valve on the primer solenoid. Don't do it on a concrete driveway or your wife will whoop your azz.

One a motor that has never benn done I use two cans and follow intructions on the can.
Then take her to the lake and run it hard.
It is a good idea to put a new set of plugs in before going to the lake.

Can or maybe two of SeaFoam...hook intake to muffs (warn neighbors) and watch the black exhaust eventually go away...it will amaze you...

If never been done then run a few tanks of fuel with Seafoam in the tank to loosen and carbon up. After 3 full tanks of the seafoam/fuel mix then you can use the BRP tuner. The seafoam/fuel mix will soften up the carbon and one can will knock it out. Just change your plugs after the process.
