    What is the difference between an E-tech 250 H.O. and a 300 H.O. (2011)

50 HP; yes but they are both 3.4 liter motors. I suspect that the main difference is a $1,500 ECU and stickers. Does anyone know for sure?

They are not all the same, the 250HO is a 3-Star Ultra-clean emission engine while the 300 is only a 2-star rated engine

The 300 is not an HO.

No its not a HO, but this one is, right around 315hp at 7000rpms, and yes I know they dont rev that high, but when you have the Secret BRP EMMS you can pop it in and go for some High RPM runs.... and NO MERCS CAN COME CLOSE, 260s, 280s, 300 Drags, 250 XS's or 300 XS's......seriously

What mid and lower are they running on that red and yellow tunnel hull? Looks like a coned magnum....but the mid looks like a merc offshore (with the snout)

Looks like the white tunnel hull is running a sporty LU......with a little help from the Taylor brothers down in Alabama.

Sorry to laugh...but I have asked this question on many sites. Never got a straight black and white answer from any of the experts. Its some big secret I guess....or there isn't ANY difference besides lower-units (oops, scratch that), graphics and CARB rating.
That said, I would rather have the 300 just cuz it says 300

Where you there to see it? It was solid white and had a hole cut in each side of the cowling about 5" in diameter. I though I had a picture of it but I didn't. I do have some video but I would have to dig it out. Man, that thing was a BEAST!

Well genius the thread was about E-tecs. Monty generally mods loopers 60 and 90 * motors.
