    What type of line...

As most know I have been throwing spinning gear exclusivley and have made the switch over to bait casters. On my spinning gear I was using Suffix Elite, in the red box, and was very happy with it and had no problems at all. So when I put line on the bait casters I went with the Suffix Seige, in the blue box, and am not happy with it at all. I keep getting kinks in the line, so so with casting, and the line seems to always look ashy in color (like it is drying out).

I know I will get a ton of answers on this, but what line(s) would I not have those problems with. Would like something that is easy to put my hands on at any given time and easy to find. Have been told that Stren is good as is Izer Line (sp?). What do you all say...

Also look at the new P-Line Evolution Copolymer, i didn't like it at first b/c it is so limp can be tough to cast but now that i have got used to it i love the stuff super strong and abrasion resistant!!

And good ole Stren original, if it ain't broke don't fix it!!

I may be way off base, but how are you spooling the line on baitcasters? If you lay the spool on its side, like with spinning tackle, you will get kinks. On baitcasters, it has to be "reel to reel"...

Izorline Platinum is what I use. Havent had a break yet and feels more like braid to me when setting the hook. Doesnt give much or stretch........

I have been taking to Gander Mt and having them put it on for me on the spooling machine they have. I need to figure out exactly how to do it at home though...

I use the Suffix Seige on baitcasters and the Elite on my spinning reels, and I don't have anything bad to say about either. The Seige is strong and cast like a dream (for me.)

Spooling line on a casting reel is a piece of cake. Tie it around the spool and crank it on til it is near full. Helps to have someone to hold the spool on a pencil.
