04 Evinrude 225 HO just kills like its running out of gas

Love the motor but.. Kills at the worst times. Can be going full throttle then it will just bog and then stop. Pump buld and its just fine. Starts right up and goes. Cant predict when it will happen. Some days not at all , some days 3 or 4 times. Its making me nuts. Im not worried about getting stranded because I can pump it up and it will go. I did replace the buld last year after it happened a few times but now this year it is happening almost every time out and usually more than once. Dealer looks and says everything seems fine. Please help me Rusty

Has your dealer checked the fuel system for a restriction?

This could be a simple as a faulty anti siphon valve, he can use a vacuum guage hooked in line to monitor the fuel system vacuum, anything above 1 on the guage at idle is to much and indicates a problem.

I am bringing it to the shop tommorow. He has a fuel Lift Pump that he wants to put in. He said he thinks this may be the issue.
