    Personally, if I was going to re-power a boat, I would still go with Yamaha. I know you hear horror stories, but I hear them with all the outboards. My dad is on Skeeters prostaff and he gets a new boat every year. He and several of his buddies have sold a lot of boats over the last several years with a SHO on it and none of the new owners have had any issues that I know of.
