Purchased a boat with a 07 225 optimax. Previous owner was still using a group 24 battery...

Ended up going with the NAPA 7235. The specs make it look like a beast of a battery almost on par with the AGMs and less than half the cost... 1000CCA, 185 RC, with an 18 month warranty.

How much can you get those for? The Napa website lists those for the same price you can get a group 31 Duracell AGM at Sams which seems like a much better deal.

$140 + core charge picked up 5 minute drive from my place. I'm not a sams club member, nor do I live near one so that wasn't an option for me.

That duracell is lacking the CCA (800 cca) bare minimum for motor only with no other loads such as electronics, pumps, etc. the Napa commercial is far superior to the duracell
