    When we were looking at new cars a few years ago the Hyundai/Kia salesman says the engineers steal all the good stuff from other brands anyway so AAPL knows it's stuff is gonna end up there anyway?

    Also Hyundai/Kia is more affordable to the younger crowd and they're more likely to be early adopters of whatever tech goes into the new car. The Lounge is the perfect example of the fogies being slow to change, lol.

    bingo! I posted a thread about EV will be the future and the majority of the posts disagreed. The thread was in the lounge and you know the demographics there.

    wonder if a lotta the older folks have a ‘big oil’ heavy portfolio? Which might explain part of the ev agitation

    I think that is part of it. Also we have a lot of people from oil pricing states where they may work for big oil or have friends or family that do. They will have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the green age
