It may be the way I am looking at it but to my eye it appears the hull material is worn away where the hull sat on the fender.
If that is the case, I would be concerned and seek professional advice.
BTW: great looking boat.

Need to take it to a fiberglass shop that fifth pic. You are down to raw glass which will absorb water and start delimitation and will ge serious $$$$$$$ to fix. Would not use until you get it fixed. Nice looking rig.
I just retired my Crestliner 21’ Phantom from 1999. It was a true workhorse! Bounced off of more rocks, docks.... than you can imagine. Always forced my way up small creeks feeding lakes that the boat shouldn’t have gone in. Had thousands of scars in paint and aluminum- none ever got bad from age.
However, my son lost a monster Musky in his first ten minutes of ever fishing in Minnesota due to sharp cuts on bottom of boat. We launched boat, he cast to the second dock from boat launch and we saw Musky grab lure. He fought it for awhile in crystal clear water then it went under boat. Line cut on boat. The end.
Sucks when you probably just made a large purchase that you worked hard to afford. That first dent or scratch gives you that sinking feeling in yoir stomach. I can feel for you. My old eyes can't make much out from the photos. If you have insurance it should be covered. Hopeful it is just you first lesson in aluminum and dents and nothing more than some hurt pride. Have fun I certainly remember my first new boat at age 24. It took every spare penny I had to bring it home.
Mask it off and put some MarineTex on it and touch up with paint.
i would think your side bunks need adjusting so it could not get on the fender, just a thought
is the trailer adjusted correctly for the boat ? it looks off to me , but i dont know tin boats
Hey Nick, I have the same boat. As was already said above, whenever you come off the water walk behind the boat and look underneath to see that the boat is sitting square on the trailer. Your bunks should be lying flat beside the ribs (in your photo, the one bunk looks like it has swiveled a little, and needs to be flattened out). If the boat is just not quite sitting right, loosen the front bow strap and give it a good shove to slide it into the correct position. And always use transom tie downs, ...if your boat was snugged down tight it would never have hopped up on the trailer like that.
Hey Everyone, Really appreciate all your thoughts on this! Hoping it's just a scratch that doesn't need any work but will definitely be monitoring it closely. Thanks again!
