You have to use the software to ask the EMM what it thinks the timing is and then check that with a timing light.
Got it. I did that and it stated 25 degrees. I'll follow up w/ the timing light in the morning.

Tell the EMM what you see with the timing light, it will only let you change it 3 degrees at a time so.......if your timing light shows 20 BTDC and the EMM thinks its 28 BTDC, you will have to move what the EMM thinks 3 degrees at a time.

Makes perfect sense. I'll try it tomorrow. I fired it up today and she ran smooth. I'll feel better once the timing checks out.

I fine-tuned it as you stated and that baby purred after the tweak. I took her out and ran it for about an hour and it started on a dime and ran great.![]()
