    T Ball practice

went to Academy today and got my grandson Pokey his first ball glove. He's a southpaw I'm thinkin there's a good chance he's gonna be a dandy lion picker too Daughter just got him signed up and they have the first "practice" tomorrow night. He won't be 5 till the end of March.
Why in the world do they have the season in the dad gum WINTER!

Watch out it can get expensive... I guess like anything else. My boy does it year round. Kinda makes fishing rough on me missing some of his games.

That's exactly why I never bass fished from when my son was 4 to high school.
Been there with my son and a great group of local kids that to this day still call me Coach Tee. Had a select team of those kids from the time they were 10 to high school. We played League games in Houston @ Baseball USA, $2800 a season there, not to mention insurance and tournaments and travel...tournaments every weekend, some weekends we played in 2 tournaments. Started in January and played thru Halloween. NBC Texas State tourn. in Dallas -2nd place, USSSA World Series in Hutchinson Kansas in 99. I could go on and on, but I'm retired
Have the 14 X 70 full fledge hitting tunnel on cement slab behind my shop to remind me of the days.
Think I'll be sittin in the bleachers and just observe my grandson for a while
