Hey Guys, just bought a 88 Stratos 189V with a Evinrude 150. My question is that there is no pee stream from the motor but my water pressure gauge is working fine and showing good pressure ( 22psi). I know the WP gauge was hooked up by the previous owner, so is it possible he just bypassed the pee stream? motor runs great but was wondering if this is a bad idea or if its ok. Thanks
On the 88's the H20 gauge is T'd into the tell tale you may want to check for a dirt dobber in there. They go in the craziest places, but the tell tale should work just fine. CM
They really like the little exhaust ports of gas weedeaters too. Took me forever to figure out why mine wouldn't start, and why it sounded funny when I was cranking it.
