I recently bought the software and cable to diagnose issues with my 2001 200 HP Ficht.
Where on the engine is the triangle shaped 3 prong connector to plug the cable into?
Thanks

Behind the flywheel rear right on top of the motor. Key needs to be in the on position for the diags to work.
I see a triangle shaped plug with 3 prongs in that location, it is plugged into another connector, could this be it?

The blank plug is just a holder and a protector for the interface cable connector.

Ok, I'll keep looking then. The plug I thought it was isn't plugged into a blank.
That is the correct plug, what SEAHORSE is saying is that it serves no other purpose it only has a ground wire attached to it which keeps it from getting lost.
