Can I get more horsepower with a computer chip?

I'm guessing no because I don't see as many for use on outboards as they do on automotive engines, but just checking...

My 2001 135hp Ficht is a de-tuned 150/175 block. My boat's capacity plate lists 175hp max so I have room for more power if I can unlock it.

Can it be done with 3rd party chips? Re-programming the EMM? I don't mind burning a little more fuel to get what's already there...

I have a Triton 190LTS bay boat and the extra ponies always come in handy...

    Thanks in advance.
