    Fish Spawn???

Has anybody seen any evidence of a spawn yet on any of the North Texas area lakes?
With all this crazy weather... I've had a tough time finding any beds, all the fish I've caught latlely are still full... tails are still in good shape also...

I have seen evidence in Ray Hubbard. That 12 lb'er that was caught Tuesday didn't have much of a tail left

Caught one at Winnsboro last Saturday with a bloody tail. I think she was on the bed but the water was too off color to see it.

I just got here (Belton) and have not been on the lake yet, but hearing that the fish are indeed on the beds. Like you, I will be pounding away tomorrow while keeping an eye out.

    Re: Fish Spawn??? (Chris Brewton)

Some were on Beds on Belton..taught my youngest how to catch 'em
Strangest thing though I was creeping down the creek and saw a good one on a bed about 4lbs BUT I didn't see her till it was too late and too close. The fish jumed out out the water and hit the side of my boat!!

My boy said. " Dad, I don't think tht one is gonna come back"

    I just started laughing
But they are in there ya gotta look REAL good though cause they are hiding very well this year!!

They are starting to get on beds on Texoma. Buddy seen a 6+ yesterday and couldn't get her to bite. When the full moon hits, they should be in full action
