It's okay lil buddy, not everyone likes what you do, it'll be okay. And wrong, I like the Pumas, Lynx, and Cougar...I'm just not much on the Jaguar.

You'd think they'd update the 1950 Velcro rod straps by now. smh.

they offer both these and retractable and surprisingly many still like these as well as the bungee. Never a bad thing to have options.

Can get rod buckles on a BCB. Some prefer the old method. I got the buckles

I'm curious how/if they plan on doing the dual console. I understand why they do the seating the way they do which is to get that big rod box on the pass side, but the offset way the seating is and the mini me console they had on the previous version was just extremely ugly to my eye. Basscat has always marched to its own beat styling wise and leaned more toward function than beauty. Definitely a beast of a boat will be huge $$$ especially with that kind of power.

I can respect it but how it is offset just hurts my eyes. I think if they did this like one of the center console gamblers or those old nitros it would be awesome but not many of those are sold so what do i know. Good luck to them with the new version.

It looks like the new Jag would be a great big water guide boat.

Well..this video shows way more of that feller than the boat. Why was the camera on him so much? I mean he's talking all about it, but very little video of the boat. For THAT reason only, i will not buy this boat.

    You did good!
That's Rick Pierce. President of the company.
It was the dealers meeting. So he was covering the new boat and why choices were made on design. Was not meant as advertising. Lol.

I own a old Jag and love the boat. Im a fan of BC.

That said, this shows how much profit is in these boats. They can make a boat that they might sell 20. Make a mold and all the goodies for a very small number of people. Yeah, boat companies are asking to much for the boats we buy IMO.

BTW love this new Jag! Awesome job BC!

I know why they do that but I just can't warm up to that ill- proportion design. That is a HUGE bassboat but if it were a dual console, there would be no room between them like their other boats. Opinion only....

You have to get in a Jag at the mouth of the Mississippi river in ocean going ship waves, tug waves and push boat waves and a 25 mph south wind to really appreciate this hull. The passenger rod box is well worth the offset seating. The boat is big and you really don't notice the offset seating when riding in the boat. The box can hold a lot of rods and with the new security system that notifies by phone it saves you from toting the rods in the motel room on overnight trips. My P2 is a lot more of a hand full to drive than a Jag with a 350 vrod. The 450r is a different animal so I can't speak to that. Also, for as big as it is, it fishes very very well. If I fished I mostly big water I would figure out a way to own one. Hands down the most impressive bass hull I've been in.

I think BCB did a great job on this one, and if I had money coming out my ears, I'd love to have one. I've always liked the looks of their boats, and this one is no different.

I’m going to wait for the 24 footer with the 600 Mercury. And the 42” screens.

    Go big or go home
