    August 6th at Cabela's

I have a beautiful young niece who lives in Austin. A UT Law graduate. Her Mom and one of here brother's will be there that weekend. Martha and I are driving down Sunday morning Aug 6th to have breakfast and visit with them before my Sister and her son head back to El Paso at around noon. We will then head to Cabela's. Anyone who is free that weekend who would like to meet at Cabela's for lunch around 12:30pm or 1:00pm. Are we could meet at another place for lunch. Just thought sense I know we will be in Austin that day we could get a get together for lunch scheduled.

On a semi serious note if any of you folks decide to go to Cabela's in Ft. Worth give me a call as our new house is exactly 7.1 miles from there. We are only about 19 miles from BPS. We have 3 Academy stores within a 20 mile range as well. Life is good....

Seriously you guys are welcome at the house at anytime. Take care

Not to change the subject guys, but how are the Cabelas stores in Texas? Our store in Kansas City is very nice, but they are a little lacking in the fishing department compared to BPS. They do have a good walleye selection, but their bass selection is limited. As far as hunting and outerwear goes, they are tops.

Re: August 6th at Cabela's (Jiggernaut)

Probably the same here Jiggy. I know BPS has a much bigger area for it's fishing stuff and more to chose from but then it is Bass Pro Shop's. Our Cabela's have a good fishing area in their stores but not to compair to BPS. My wife said that their (Cabela's) cloth's was less than BPS. She notices stuff like that.

They're getting it together around here. All these big boy stores take a little tweaking for each market it's in. The Cabela's in Ft. Worth had a great selection of fishing goodies and of course all the other areas we're just as large & plentiful.

OK Skip, we've tentatively planned a trip to check up on the bro-in-law that weekend. Are you planning on lunch at Cabela's or somewhere else?
