Ficht water pressure

Just put a 6 in. jack plate on my 01, ranger 520dvx, will I have any problems with lost water pressure if I raise the motor.I am new at this jackplate crap, knock on wood I haven't had any problems with my 225 ficht and dont want to messs anyhting up,,,,Thanks for any help

Set it at 3.5 below the pad and you should be OK you can go up/down from there.
