Another spark plug question............

    '03 225 HO

None of these parts stores can find me what I want. Without having to drive 1 hour to the house and pull the plug off motor and take it to them.

    I want either a QC12PEP stock # 956M

    or

    QC10WEP stock # 9005

I've called 6 parts houses and none of them can come up with a Champion for either. They can cross it up with a NGK or other but from what you guys have said, Champion is best to run on these motors.

What makes me even is I have bought from one or the other before but they can't cross it up with my phone number since they aren't a warranty item.

I need these by this weekend or I would just order on-line.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Rusty, Napa, OReillys, and Auto Zone around here can usually have them next day.....what parts stores are around your area.

Napa, o'riley, autozone, and advance auto are all telling me the same thing. "Not showing up in their system".

I could order on-line from places others have mentioned but wanted them tomorrow or at the latest by Saturday.

That's the one's I buy. Unless the old plugs are completely unusable Rusty, ya may have to clean and regap 'em .028 tight.

Finally found them this morning at O'riley. They found them by taking the "M" off of the 956.

Got to remember that you are dealing with auto parts monkeys not boat parts people.

Hey, hey, take it easy on the "auto" part of the auto parts monkeys. I might resemble dat! <smile>

Turned a few wrenches during my hey day.
