Fished an end of the year tournament there weekend before last , and it was very tough. Caught a few fish up the river flipping to whatever brush you could see. AND I MEAN A FEW ! The boys that won it caught them halfway of the lake slinging a jig under docks. Two day total was only 11.5 lbs and nobody had a limit either day in two days of fishing. The locals claim its going to turn on any day but it surely hadn't that week!
