Take a piece of 2x4 and put it behind the bend then tap on the curved part with a 3 pound sledge very easily. Until straight. But just a slight bend will not have any effect.
Careful bigjay with the sledge hammer. If you break the case you may not be able to claim crack in unit. I had the same thing happen and just filed with insurance co. and got the case replaced minus deductable.
