i'm wondering what the best overall prop is for a 1992 Johnson 150? i'm running a Raker 24 right now, but thought about trying something else just to see the difference? what do you guys think i should go for?

Depends on the hull. You could go broke trying props trying to get the Nth degree out of your set up.
very good point......it seems like alot of people like Tempest props. what so different about them?
23/24 tempest plus. You'll need a hub kit. Nothing wrong with that 24 Raker. You can have it tweaked if needed.
such as what? i've only gotten to use it once since i bought it but its identical to the other 24 Raker that was on the boat when i bought it. it does feel a tad better under wot.
try posting prop questions in the props forum as they general more prop heads lurking there,be sure to post rpms and top speeds and hole shot type.
