    WATEREE

I will be going to Wateree next Mon. or Tues to prefish for a club tourney on the 28th. I have never been to Wateree. Does anyone want to go or can anyone give me any advice as to what to try or where to try it. My club has rented a house near the dam on the west side of the lake. You can IM me if you want, or reply here.
    Thanks in advance, Tony

Oh Tony, Tony, Tony....last Sat I held a CATT tourny at Clearwater...37 teams entered and 21.11 won with 21.05 2nd....

    2 bass over 7lbs
    2 over 6lbs
    19 over 5 lbs...and we only had 37 teams

Wateree is by far the most consistant lake I know of...get a Hawgcaller ch/white spinnerbait with gold blades..Bl/Blue Shooter Jig and a #8 Crawdad Shad Rap..thats all you need...leave everything else at home...prepare to get a very sore thumb...they are so shallow I caught one with a canteen around it's neck...

Seriously the fish are doin it big time at Wateree right now..fish the points and half way back...and the coves off the main lake...

    WHAT HE SAID!!
Our club fished Sunday fishing was off for us but I found fish using isolated stumps in small pockets and coves just off the main channel on lower end of the lake up to colonel creek.
    Good luck!

The one on wateree Creek is the closest to 177. All the others, you have to go around BFE to get to the other side of the lake
I don't always find schooling fish but when I do I backlash on the first cast
