The outboard has been real slow to trim up during my last 2 fishing trips, it acted like the voltage was too low. However, once I got the boat up on plane and ran the outboard for a while, it trimmed up and down just like it is supposed to do. So, i went ahead and replaced the cranking battery just for kicks. It was old anyway. The next day i backed the boat into the garage and the dang outboard wont trim up at all. The relays are clicking, when I work any 1 of the 3 trim switches on the boat. So, here is my question. Is there some kind of fuse somewhere else, that I don't possibly know about? If there isn't another fuse or relay to check, then I would tend to think that the trim motor would be the problem. If the trim motor is at fault, how much do they typically cost? Also, can they be rebuilt? And oh yeah where exactly is the dang thing located at for sure? This is my first omc product to own. I wonder if I should have bought an optimax or yamaha instead of this omc. Props are hard to find for this motor!!
