    Championman need some help???

I purchased a new nipple and o-ring part # 335234 for my 1991 Fastrike the nipple is now white and the groove for the o-ring is at the top of the nipple unlike the older one which had no groove but we cannot get it to go in we put oil on the o-ring and try to push it up into where it goes but it won't go do you think it's possible that I got a wrong nipple even if the # are correct.I ended up putting just the new o-ring on the old nipple for now???

The O ring sits inside the VRO housing and doesn't go over the nipple. It is more of a seal and you tighten the T-10 torx screws to seat the nipple.

Just make sure the raised edge is pointing down. The O ring should be inside the VST.

the o-ring is inside the the vst but the new nipple has a groove around the upper end that goes into the vst but would not fit with the oring on it so we used the old nipple and new o-ring should that be ok the old one would squirt gas when you pushed on it under pressure

They all do that. The groove should point down.
