Like it says. After a full run down the lake when I come off plane back to idle it has a lean sounding cough or miss. It doesn't always do it and when it does it's just for a second or so. My mechanic says he has seen that often in Looper motors and it's a normal operation of these motors?
I'd test the recirc valves.
ok Seems to have solved it self or at least less noticable. however now it is missing and coughing at idle. Doesnt want to slow idle and dies. It seems to clear up alittle when I throttle up to 900 rpm and above.

What are the recirculating valves?
What are the purpose of them and how do you test them?
