Put in a Hickory point around 6:30 and Its already blowing pretty good. Boy I know how to pick the days.

Run to my first spot. Nothing on a worm, nothing on a crank, so I pull out the old C-rig. After about 10 min. I feel that tap tap tap. Go to set the hook and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz You know you really should check the drag on a reel you have not used in a while.

Finally hook up w/ a 2lber around 9:00 on the C-rig.

Now it is really blowing, so I decide to try something else. I run from the little cover I had through the dead river to Eustis, to try by the Dora canal.

AS I start running to the Dora canal I was bouncing all over the place in the Tracker & getting wet. @#$% the heck with this I pull out the goretex XPS jacket zip it up and retreat back to the Dead river. Wet ride but dry under the goretex!

Hit some canals-nothing, back to my first spot- nothing, go and find cover-nothing. The wind has died down now so off come the goretex and under the consol it goes. I head to one more spot and you guessed it nothing.

Call it a day and put it back on the trailer. As I am heading home I realize I did not put my XPS Jacket away. No big deal it is under the consol, and can't go anywhere. Wrong

I have been looking for that thing for over an hour and it is gone

If anyone finds a Blue Goretex XPS Jacket (XL) from Hickory point to Deltona let me know.

Should a have stayed in bed.

I'll get em next time
