Wow, it was a great lookin' day yesterday (Thursday Nov 17)..overcast with 10 knot north wind, but the fish were really lethargic. We finally figured out where they were located, and we hooked up with a pattern fishing the outer peppergrass mats. They seemed to be suspended on the outter edges, and we caught 'em on pencil worms and zoom craws with 1/4 ounce pegged sinkers. Most of them hit it on the initial fall. On one mat, we found 5 fish in a 10 yard stretch, and I caught two in two casts, which for me, is exciting. We ended up with 10, one of which was a three pounder, and I kept my Butler chain mudfish streak alive with one about 7 or 8 pounds.
