Beep when I start !!!

I just adjusted my Throttle roller timing arm on my 1995 Evenrude Intruder 150. That fixed my problem with the boat not wanting to go on plane when i gave it gas with the hot foot. Now when I turn the key to start the motor there is a continous beep. What could be causing that beep ? Help me out guys !!!

disconnect the wiring from the oil tank at the motor and see if the beep goes away.

If not, then sensors and wiring may need inspecting.
