Any chance of one of the Jacksonville folks have an open seat 7/24 or 25? I'll be down that way for two weeks, but have the weekend off. I'm more than willing to pitch in for fuel etc. You don't have to worry about sticking too many fish as I rarely catch any, just looking for a good way to kill some time and have a little fun.

After a few IM's, and a couple phone calls, he took me to a small lake about an hour from his house on Saturday.
We got out before sun up and started tossing frogs to the bank. About safe light, we got a few blowups, but neither of us could get a hook in. We continued fishing frogs most of the day with a little bit of everything else mixed in trying to get a pattern going, but the bite was off. We had plenty of hits, just nothing substantial. About 10 or so Treg hooked up with one about 2 lbs and got it to the boat. About 1 or 2, we decided we were done for the day and loaded up.
We had talked about hitting either Orange or one of his local areas the next day, but shortly after getting back to the hotel on Saturday I got a phone call to cover a job for our local office in Jacksonville the next morning. Double time is worth too much for me to resist, so I had to cancel.
Treg is one of the finest gentleman I have met in quite a while. Extremely accomodating, great conversation, and extremely knowledgable about the area. Treg, you may consider real estate in your older years. He absolutley refused to let me pay for gas, the cooler was full of drinks and food before I got to his house at 04:30. He just plain treated me like we had been pals for years.
