I just purchased this boat and I know in most fish/ski style boats the rear seats are removable and are able to be used as casting seats. Is that the case with these...they look like your average fishing seat, but they do not want to come out. Just want to make sure they are removable before I start yanking on them to hard?

I have a 1992 274 FS and both rear seats pull straight up and can be used on the fishing deck. Not sure if yours is the same, hope this helps. Good luck!!

if you can feel under the fiberglass under them, you shoudl feel the screws and post from the mounting plates.

Well they are fishing seats... I was able to pry up the cushion just enough to see the posts underneath. But, the posts are rusted something terrible, which is why they won't budge! Any ideas on how to remove the rust? I soaked them down with PB Blaster the best I could, so I'll wait and see if that helps any.
