I just had to tell you....my fishing club went up to the Potomac river last week...we went up on Thursday and stayed till Sunday....I had heard stories about this place, about the fishing and about the water....well the fishing was good, it got better each day.... this was my first time fishing in this tidal water, but I managed to catch some bass along with some snakeheads, those snakeheads are some bad ass fish....they will shread a bait to pieces....but the real story was the river....we put in at Leesylvania State Park, the river is about 2 miles across here....we took off out of the park and once we got past the rock walls, we were in 2-4 foot waves....this was my first time running in this kind of water but my 618 handled it without any problems....I was extremely pleased with the way it performed all weekend, we ran anywhere we wanted to go....now I can't wait to get back up there.....
