......................................Motorguid e, Abu Garcia, Pflueger, Toyota Trucks, Cooks Go-to-Tackle System............................................
That is a very old photo of Bobby Barrack, back when he and Byron Velvick were the flagship pros for Viper here in the West.... I was also on that team, and am a GYCB Team member and occasional Inside Line writer.....
Bobby is one of the premier Frog anglers out west and has a bait out called bobby's perfect frog.... I think he is now with Bass Cat..... As you know most of the big names all left in 2002... I hope no one takes offense to me posting here, I watch the board occasionally to see how Chip is doingI also owned 3 Cobras and actually am selling my last one next week ( so I guess for a week I am still an owner ).

Specials? Hmmmmmm........
Nah, my wife would have to kill me, but I appreciate the thought! Do you have a solid buyer for your last Cobra? I have a buddy looking for a 201 or a 216, but he can't find one, pics and price?
Thanks Jamie!
Someone needs to scan the article/pics.

Awe Ceveland I was just kiddin, as you remember I posted on the Legend site that the scum bag was in jail and I thought you had his foot pretty well up his %^$#.... I think you replied is lodged in there real good? I had the opportunity to talk to Chip, he was a real ^%%^ and to say I put him in his place would be an understatement. When he called us to appologize for starting all the bad blood, we accepted, but in the very next sentence he asked if he could borrow or buy about a $1K in parts, oh yea and he was going to write us a check![]()
Chris, you can IM me or email me direct @ the above posted address...
Mine is sold.... But I do have a friend as well that has 2001 201dc 225 optimax for sale.... He just ordered his new Legend ( sorry had to do it ) He is goin to trade it unless he finds a buyer in the next 6 weeks..... It is a very nice boat!!!!
And Kathy I modified my post just for you!![]()

Jamie...no hard feelings budChip is just a real sore subject for me. Every morning when I walk down my driveway to get my newspaper I am always hoping to look at the front page and see that Chip's body was found in a ditch somewhere in Baxter County...but no such luck

It pretty much sickened me when I found out that Chip had burnt any bridges that Cobra might have had with Legend Boats. I have always felt why can't all the boat manufacturing companies in the area get along and help each other out from time to time when needed without feeling "why should we help them out....they might sell one more boat than us". We are all in the same business with the same goal....please the public and build great boats...no matter what the brand is. I just love building boats.
Chip was asking for supplies from Legend because he had already burnt ALL the bridges that Cobra Boats had with all of the venders. That @#$% SCUM BAG!!!
HAVE A GREAT DAY JAMIE !!![]()

I absolutely agree with you..... And would even further to say that not only do I love the Mountain Home, entire twin lakes area, but feel that the finest craftsman in the business live there, oh and the fishin ain't bad as well![]()
You're a very observant man Jamie![]()

Oh yeah....and SMART too !!!

"That @#$% SCUM BAG!!!"
Kathy,
Doctors tell us that holding back emotions can cause serious health problems, try not to hold back next time and tell us how you really feel!

I am sure any thoughts you may have toward the man are well deserved and justified. Don't let it eat you up inside, he'll get what is coming to him and you'll get what you deserve. Somehow I think the two will be on opposite ends of the pay back spectrum.
By the way, I don't have a high speed buffer and I put a "nice" scratch on the side of my boat. Doesn't look like it really dug in, but with Alpha Jewel sides, a white mark about 6' long sure stands out. (sometimes you gotta go where no man has gone before to get those big ones!) I was told baking soda would take it right out. I have been using Kit's Scratch Out, which is a super fine polishing cream. Typically used for after waxing to remove all swirl marks and small scratches.
What do you suggest? Find a high speed buffer?
Can you see the scratch still ?? I would wet sand it with some 2000 grit sand paper if it's just on the surface and then use a buffer with some finess-it II compound but I wouldn't use it over 1200 - 1300 rpms. I've never tried the Kit's Scratch Out or the baking soda thing.
