Are these good engines? Any issues I should be concerned with? What is the maximum rpm for this motor?

Tony Steverson Jr.
I have one with over 400 hrs. and it runs great, I did however have some early warranty work done, a starter and then the stator. Also broke an injector bolt but it had not gotten the updated injector bolt kit installed in time. It is a runner thats for sure. This year I grenaded my lower unit and had to replace it. 7 years running it hard so who knows. Post the model and serial number here and one of the mods can look it up to see the history. 6000 rpm's max, personally I would prop it to run that in the cooler months.
