The bottom 2 cyls will read lower most times!
They will read low, but when was the last time you decarbed? I would guess ring stick and piston scuff. when they are assembled at the plant the std bore is 3.685" and the piston and rings are installed in the block. Theoretically they should all show the same compression, when new. The pistons don't know what cylinder they are put in. As time goes on over the years the bottom 2 cylinders are closest to the exhaust ports in the mid section and all of the junk attaches itself to the bottom 2 pistons. That is why it is important to decarb at least once a year. I'll bet you have either ring stick or piston scuffing. But that is my .02. I'm only a hillbilly from SC,. CM
