Follow the dr's directions to a T. I actually listened to the docs and even tho I only had a 10% chance of walking (even with surgery) I fish tourneys, use my nursing license, ride a Harley and such.......

Best Wishes for a full and speedy recovery!

thanks for the encouragement, everything went well.they did have to cut out a piece of bone that was on some nerves and they had to do alot of pulling on the nerve and muscles to get to it so there is some soreness.the good part is as soon as i woke up i had my feeling back in both legs and no more pain in the left leg.my left hamdtring has felt for 2.5 months likee it was pulled and on fire and now ok.surgery was thursday at centennial surgery center in nashville and theyy were great.friday was a hard day for me and very humbling to be so helpless.my wife and mother and rest of family have stood strong and got me going and today(sun)i was able to get out of bed and walk by myself.i think deer season is scraped for this year but maybe fishing in 4 weeks.
    thanks everyone,

Sounds like your surgery went well. Good news. Get better and get back in the boat.
