So I have a 2001 Optimax but want to use the newer larger size 2.5 inch rigging hose. I see the newer Mercs accept that & if the older Opti's can be made to also? Anybody got a part # for just the cowl insert maybe?

As an alternative, you can order the COMPLETE rigging kit (includes the bracket, hardware, cowling flange, tube, and boat-side flange). It's Part# 842756T01 (a bit pricey.... but everything you need is there, and matched).
