Inductive Pickup Tachometer, attached to the #1 Spark Plug Lead.
Many Mid-to-High end timing lights are equipped with this feature.
We normally verify a tachometer at 3000 RPM's (which gives an idle and WOT reading that's normally within 100-150 RPM's accurate).

Put a 29 pitch prop on and go floor it at the lake. The motors limiter will stop at 6250 unless the computer has been modified.

Richard, you been sniffing fumes off that 300 again havent you? Putting a 28 bravo on tonight and running it tomorrow, if i cant get it to act right i may want to come down to lay one day and let you drive it. You need to get back in a slow boat a little anyway.
