    Mounting trailer licence plates so they won't bend or break anything

    Instead of bolting your trailers licence plate to the frame, hang it from the mounts with those large split rings that your keys are on. It lets it hang down freely, but if you hit something, it just moves out of the way without bending or breaking anything.

    Just use plastic wire ties I have never had any trouble with them your plate will

    swing free and never bend.

    Keep an eye on them, though. The wire ties don't like sunlight and will get brittle after a while. Just replace them before that happens.

    Don't make it too easy to steal.!!!!
    That's right someone clipped the little S hooks I had used to fasten with.. Cop said it happens more than you might think.

    Any way this one I used Aluminum piano hinge... At least it will take them longer......
