I have a Garmin 160 in the dash that does not work. I have been thinking of replacing it or just getting rid of it since I have a Lowrance LCX 18C next to the console. Do they make something I could put in the hole to fill it (Like a small glove box or storage box)? Does anyone have an old 160 that works and are not using to replace it with? Any suggestions would be great.

Call ranger(or whichever brand of boat you have) and see if they could make you a plate without a hole. They are really helpful.

I got one on the boat i got a month ago and am in the learning process of it and i also got a navionics card which is suppose to show depth sounds-shots and also topo. If you decide you want to sell yours let me know.

Man I love it! I just bought the Navionics 2008 Premium Lake Maps. I have used others in the past and this is by far the best I have owned. I am sure there are alot of others just as good but this one came with the boat and I cant see replacing it right now! But if I do I will post it on here!

You could put one of those little flower vases with plastic flowers you see in VW bugs...just a thought
Take a look at the bass cat sabre FTD they have a pic. of Marty Stone etched on what looks to be some kind of plexy glass in them. I have heard of people getting photos of family etched in them or you could get anything you wanted etched in it. Just my 2 cents.
go to your local glass shop and ask for a piece of scrape plexiglass. Use a jig saw to cut to the size you need. Spray paint back side black. When dry, cover your hole.
I agree.. use your old one as template and arrange you gages how you like the with the new plexiglass or carbon-fiber...
