hey guys, just curious is 271 hours alot on an 2002 225 efi? Just had my engine serviced for the first time since i owned it and they told me it has 271 hours on it.

Consider it "well broken in".
Engine "hours" are not NEARLY as important as "how the engine was treated DURING those hours".

Very solid- excellent engines. They love fuel... but they like to run, too!
