Jigs can be fished anywhere all year round. Known for big fish everywhere all year round. Drop it in laydowns close to deeper water(at least 10+ feet) in bends or eddies on the rivers. Post a pic of your pig
I fish jigs alot but here lately I can't get bit on it. Only moving baits. It's been a weird year for me.
I dont fish rivers but I love fishing a jig this time of year.

I like fishing them too. It gives my shoulder & arm a break from casting. I had 2 surgeries on my right shoulder over 12 years ago & it still lets me know it ain't happy.
