carb rebuild help on 150 intruder

    1993 150 intruder Model E150GLETR
Bottom two carbs leaking pretty good. Found some posts that said just rebuild all of them. Question...how much trouble is it. Looking I can see four bolts holding carb on. What procedure to begin removal? If they come off easy enough what kit will I need? Thanks for help just need some info to gain confidence to get started.

Re: carb rebuild help on 150 intruder (gunz)

BRP kit number 435442 carb bowl 433000. Don't take them all off at once as the throttle body will want to come off too. Either start at the bottom and work up one at a time or top and work down. 3/8" socket and pozi drive phillips style bit. Tighten the bowls in a X pattern so you don't warp the new bowls and don't over tighten them. Put a dab of Triple guard grease on the rear seal to hold it in place.

Re: carb rebuild help on 150 intruder (THE WITCHDOCTOR)

Parts ordered and waiting. Doing research the little bb thing keeps coming up in posts. Should I do something to these? Saw one post said put epoxy on them. Is this something I should do or worry about? Dont know if they are leaking or not.

If you ordered new float bowls along with the kits #43300 you won't have to sweat the BB problem.
