We took 2nd again with 5 fish at 9lbs 8oz, wayne Hayes won with 9lbs 12oz. Pat had a nice fish at 4lbs 14ozs.

So what did you catch them on Chip? How about a report????
I only caught one of our 5 on a senko, shallow and tight to wood. Pat has a crankbait that is on fire right now on the river, not sure what it is but the bass sure like it. I threw several other cranks but could only get bit by a pickerel. Pat had the big fish. Wayne said he got on some schooling fish but not sure where.

Here ya go.....Merry Christmas.........This bait for me has been on fire the past two times Chip and I have fished. Got the 4 lber at 7:15am....We launched at 7:05. We didnt lose by much and if it hadnt been for schooling fish that Wayne found we would have won the dang thing.

The bait has a tight wobble and turns a wierd black on its side in the water but the flash in the ticket I think. Heard of some other fish being caught on traps yesterday. Largest fish came in about 5 feet of water and caught one in less that 1 foot on a small tree clump.

I am in the sharing mode right now....kinda goes along with Christmas....better to give than recieve but my birthday is next year all year long....
