warranty /service

a quick one - hopefully on warrany and service intervals. Someone said to me yeaterday that it was 3 years or 300 hours warranty which ever comes first.

So is it

a 3 years unlimited hours warranty and 300 hrs service intervals

b 3 years OR<U></U> 300 hours warranty

Read the servicing part of your owners manual, it says no DEALER REQUIRED service for 3yr/300hr for recreational use in fresh water. Salt water and commercial motors may need more frequent servicing.


You still have to service the motor, but not much. Winterizing and pulling the prop occasionally to check for fishing line is about it. You have to use a fuel stabilzer during storage and you have to flush out the motor when used in salt or muddy waters.

This is stll head and shoulders above any other outboard!!!!!!
