I am interested in a boat for sale in Oklahoma. I need to know the paperwork involved in owning a boat in your state. Title, for boat, trailer ? anything else necessary.

There is a title for the trailer and boat and the MSO for the motor I do believe.
Trailer will not be tagged, boat and motor tagged seperate.
I know for cars transaction has to be stamped by notary but for the life of me I don't know why. Taking the rig back to IL ?

i have a title for boat, a title for motor, and my dealer has the mso for the trailer if i ever sell it out of state i will have to get it from him
Yes, Would pull it back to Illinois. Sounds complicated. Here we just sign over the title to the boat and trailer.

I would ask the IL tag folks first but being that it's going back to IL thats probably all you need is the titles

i don't know where the boat is in oklahoma, but i make trips about once of month from my house to okc, i would be willing to pick it up for you if i am down that way, for a little gas money or something. let me know, i'm actually leaving today for okc.
