Last weekend I was tied up to a dock bow first. I had my power pole holding my back in place. Well a big wave comes along and the bow slams down on the dock pulling one of the rivets out on the bow of the boat. I took it out and plan recaulking it down with tape until it dries. Well I starting looking closer and the caulk all the way around the bottom of my bumper is looking bad, so I pulled it all off. It wasn't hard at all due to it being 10 years old. I just never thought to check it. You may want to check yours out. That's what helps keep water out between the hull and cap. I'm going to do a full reseal all around the transom as well while I'm at it.

It's also time to replace the rope in my bumper. It's dried out and as you can see, gotten smaller. I started to pull it out but put it back until l get some new. Does anyone know what size rope that is?
