I know.... I was just sayin.... I wondered what all those folks in those "recreational" boats were thinking.... just more ammo for the peta crowd.
Might I suggest that if it appears dead at the weigh in, provide a cooler or some sort of trough to put the dead ones in, have somebody in charge of it, and take them and filet them and keep them for a charity or church fish fry... just don't dump them back into the lake so the bikini girls don't have to wade through them to get in their wakemakers...![]()
Another suggestion, go to a three fish limit.. sure, it looks good to bring in a 20# sack, but, this time of year it's probably easier to keep three alive than five due to the oxygen content in the well...
I'm not trying toor be a fuddy duddy, just trying to offer a little constructive opinion. I've worked at MAJOR weigh ins (Opens, Elite Series, Federation), so I have a little insight to your predicament.
