I went to the hill today and went to Hickory Knob SP and it is an excellent place! I have two dates that are available for our group 5/12-5/15 or 6/24-6/26. A Three night stay will cost $104/man there is a beautiful golf course on site for those that want to play and on-site restaurant that is excellent, they serve BLD and have a Friday night Seafood buffet.I need to get the dates set up quickly, Thursday/Friday night stay will be less. Close to $70/man for 2 nights. We are going to get working on sponsor prizes and give aways. As this will be the first one going on, the prizes will be lean so we will probably go with Plaques and some small cash and some raffle prizes. I hope we can get this one cranked up to show off one of the premier lakes on the Savannah chain and show off an excellent state park facility!! Hope to see you all there.
I'll be putting out more info but the deal right now is to get the rooms booked we have until 2/1/10 to let them know. They stay pretty booked up as they are right on the lake and have a bunch of events going on.
